With an original plan to become a speech language pathologist, Mandy pivoted her course of undergraduate studies when introduced to audiology. Her passion for audiology stems from a strong desire to serve others and improve their quality of life. She earned her Bachelor of Communication Sciences & Disorders with a minor in deaf education from San Jose State University in 2022 and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology.
As a lifelong resident of Santa Barbara County, Mandy made the decision to pursue her education at San Jose State University with the intention of one day returning to serve the community that has always meant so much to her. She is thrilled to now be at a point where she can bring that goal to life and give back to the place she proudly calls home.
