Smoking cigarettes has long been linked with a number of health conditions. Researchers were interested in whether this negative association would also be seen in those who have since given up the habit. Their findings are discussed below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The study by this name was published in The American Journal of Medicine<\/em><\/a> in 2020. The data from more than 80,000 women who were enrolled in the American Nurses\u2019 Health Study II between 1991 and 2013 was used in this study. Of those 81,505 women, 2,760 of them had hearing loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
