Regardless, current annual production of hearing aids is estimated to meet less than 10% of global need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s where recycling your old hearing aids comes into play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>How Does it Work?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hearingsb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/1200px-Lions_Clubs_International_logo.svg.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4163\" width=\"237\" height=\"220\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hearingsb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/1200px-Lions_Clubs_International_logo.svg.png 1200w, https:\/\/hearingsb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/1200px-Lions_Clubs_International_logo.svg-768x716.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 237px) 100vw, 237px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Patients can drop off their old hearing aids at the drop box we have in our office, 5333 Hollister Ave, Suite 165 in Santa Barbara. Lions clubs and Lions hearing foundations collect thousands of recycled hearing aids each year. Lions Hearing Aid Recycling Centers use donated hearing aids in various ways in order to then provide hearing aids for those in need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lions operate voluntarily with the support of donations, member contributions and Lions Clubs International Foundation grants.
