Mary Zhou received her bachelor’s degree in hearing and speech science with a second major in psychology at the University of Maryland, College Park. She is currently a Doctoral Candidate in the Clinical Audiology program at the University of Maryland, College Park, pursuing her Au.D. Mary has conducted electrophysiologic research studying the effects of hearing aid delay time on the brain’s ability to encode speech, bringing her passion for clinical audiology into her studies. She also has extensive experience working as a newborn hearing technician in the Mother-Baby Unit, Labor and Delivery Unit, as well as the NICU. Mary is looking forward to exploring the west coast while working with Hearing Services of Santa Barbara for her year-long externship.
